Hi! We’re Ben and Sarah.
Ben was raised in Somers, Sarah in McCrae. Both Morn Pen locals!
Ben has been a chef for over 25 years, and Sarah has worked in various front of house roles for 18 years. They met at the wonderful Frankston RSL, whilst Sarah was completing her studies in Psychology.
Both passionate about food, local produce, and good old fashion hospitality, we saw the enormous potential in Tulum Store, and ultimately decided to take over the shop in 2022.
Ben’s motto is to ‘season aggressively’, and he is endlessly creating within the kitchen. Ben is most widely known for his ‘Spice Hustle’ curries, which has its origins as a ‘side hustle’ born from the boredom of the COVID-19 lockdowns.
